Typically Yes: It would be best to consult a disability attorney. From speaking with patients, it seems that with SSDI, it is easier to get medicare coverage.

Maybe: I am not sure what you mean by social security disability insurance. If you are receiving disability benefits from social security then you can enroll in Medicare regardless of being less than 65.
