A member asked:

Please tell me, could a lymphoma change your blood type expression (agglutination) from o to b?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but...: There are carcinomas that produce carbohydrates that can bind to type o blood cells and mimic b, but i've not heard of a lymphoma doing that. However, there are a few "weak b" blood groups that have typed as o's in the past. I'll bet this is you. Your blood bank knows how to deal with these. Best wishes.
