Aspirin: Aspirin can be irritating to the lining of your stomach so it is best to take it with some food. Even milk would be okay.

Aspirin without food: May have a greater risk of causing gastritis if you are very sensitive to that. But there is no real danger of taking an Aspirin on an empty stomach if not done continuously and repeatedly.

Yes: Aspirin binds to the surface of the platelet to decrease aggregation and can cause bleeding. The family of meds where it is , decreases one of the prostaglandin production that produces mucous that protects the intestinal lining. It can induce some vasoconstriction and decrease blood flow that sustains oxygenation and nutrient to the lining. Food protects from acid and modifies drug absorption.
