Left ring finger locks straight out. i have to push it back in place it cracks. what is wrong? any cure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chronic tendonitis: This is in the group of trigger fingers which is due to chronic tendonitis usually in the 2nd knuckle or the base of the finger. Talk to your doctor as nsaids may help initially and if not an expert hand may give steroid shot and finally surgery may have to be done as the condition can be uncomfortable, annoying and sometimes downright decrease your hand capability.
