Be happy: You probably have thalassemia minor without anemia. I'm surprised nobody picked this up earlier in your life. And get educated about it -- your physician can run a few easy tests to verify it, and you must resolve that if you marry someone else who has it, you will do whatever is required so that you do not give birth to a child with thalassemia major.
