Can i use vinegar (contains 5% acetic acid) in my diet when i am taking accutane? i'm scared that vinegar will be harmful to liver as alcohol.

Yes: There is no known interaction between Accutane and vinegar. Vinegar is made from fermented alcohol and sometimes a tiny trace of alcohol (less than 0.5%) may remain. This is not enough to interact with Accutane or harm your liver.

Consuming 8 ounces of apple cider vinegar per day, long-term might lead to problems such as low potassium. There has been one report of a person who developed low potassium levels and weak bones (osteoporosis) after taking 250 ml apple cider vinegar daily for 6 years. Apple cider vinegar might also lower blood sugar.
