Post Op ?'s: Gently pull your lip back and look. If the tissues look like they are in place, you're probably ok. You would have to see your dentist in person to be sure. It's not uncommon to have different feelings through the healing process.Call your dentist for advice.

Look: You can see the stitches if you look in the area where the surgery was. Sometimes stitches do come out. During healing your pain level should be decreasing. You may feel some itching or irritation of your gum tissue. What is the weird feeling you have? If you have swelling, numbness, increasing pain or any other concerns call the dentist that did your procedure.

Host reaction: Day number 3 is when your body started to react to the bone graft (apicoectomy frequently done with bone graft to the apex of the tooth) and respond to the wound in the area. Inflammation will begins as chemotaxis of your body inflammatory cell occurs. The weird sensation probably is the result of inflammation.
