What are causes for neck pain and severe neurological problems in a 16 yr old?

Might be an emergenc: Meningitis comes to mind, would definately want to rule this out asap, really need to get an evaluation asap.

Pain=neurological: There are many possibilities. You should make an appointment to see your doctor for examination to determine the cause of your problems.

Only 4 reasons: Muscle, ligament joint or nerve and all of the above rec.: see interventional pain management specialist for a differential diagnosis and treatment. Without proper diagnosis it's just a guessing game.
