A member asked:

If a motor nerve is compressed would it manifest any pain symptoms or is weakness the only symptom?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually mixed sxs: Typically, a large nerve is comprised of both motoric and sensory portions, and if compressed, pain may well be the very first sign. Later on numbness or tingling occurs, and by time weakness and muscle atrophy emerges, problem is quite advanced.
