I have a bimalleolar fracture, when i google this it says i am unlikely to recover to 100% i am 29yrs old and healthy. is it likely i will be ok?

See below: The result may depend on how it was treated. Cast immobilization or surgical. Most people recover well but there is a lot of soft tissue damage that occurs with this type of fracture.

In general...: It may not recover 100% of the function of the ankle ( range of motion, stability, pain free always, muscle strength etc.) if objective testing is done but over 90% will recover to the degree that you will have no conscious sensation that it hasn't not recovered completely. Return to full function can be hoped for and expected in the fractures are reduced anatomically usually requiring surgery.
