Is it poss to feel more anxious and unstable since being on antidepressants? in some ways i see help but i felt more like 'me' off of them. 4 mos now

Yes: It could be a side- effect from this medication . It could be that the condition is intensifying and the medication isn't working or needs a higher dosage. Sometimes an anti-depressant will precipitate a manic or hypomanic ( almost manic ) episode in a person who has such an underlying condition. The med may need to be stopped or changed. This needs to be discussed with your psychiatrist.

Yes it's possible: Yes, it's possible to feel more anxious and unstable on antidepressants -- especially if you're actually bipolar and not on a mood stabilizer. If you're not working with a psychiatrist (many people receive antidepressants from other physicians), please consider an evaluation. The psychiatrist can help you determine what's happening and make useful suggestions.
