Different type of: Nerve is affected. If a sensory nerve is pinched, you feel pain. If a motor nerve is pinched, you get weakness of muscles. Most nerves contain both sensory and motor fibers. If you are having significant weakness, you should consult a doctor before it becomes permanent caused by irreversible nerve damage.
