My don is 11 month old would it be silly to give him to try non toxic pencils like cryola and paper just to see what he will do?

It is ok: Just show him what to do with the pencil, crayon and paper. Kids learn best by imitation.You may be in for a surprise. Let him explore. Remove objects if it is causing harm to your 11 months old baby.
