My sebaceous cyst (ear lobe) has become inflamed in the middle of a course of antibiotics. is this normal and will the antibiotics get rid of the cyst?

Sebaceous cyst: Most sebaceous are without issue but if you start to have a flare up i would recommend going to see a physicians as it may need drainage due to trapped infection. A sebaceous cyst is usually just trapped oil that usually would lubricate a hair follicle. They can be really painful and drainage may help the pain resolve faster. Often there is bacteria trapped w/in cyst and the antibiotics can't work.
