Dysmennorrhea: Is the big fancy name for it. You need to stop dairy. Eat pumpkin seeds - they have a lot of magnesium. Take cramp bark or vitex for the cramps. I also highly recommend acupuncture as it can help immensely with the cramps and pain. ...As in eliminate it all over a couple months. You may also find some benefit form evening primrose oil, borage oil or fish oil and chia seeds.High omega 3 fatty acids.

Period pain: NSAID’s, SSRI’s, hormone meds, OTC meds containing diuretics, warm bath, heating pad, exercise & acupuncture are excellent for PMS / period. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol & salt. Get GYN eval to R/O underlying pathology. Consider omega- 3 fatty acids, magnesium (supplementation or through diet) or Black Cohosh with dr ok. Sipping Chamomile can dissipate pain. Ginger helps w nausea.
