Bad breath: Bad breath, or halitosis has multiple causes. In children, it can be frequently caused by strep throat or other illnesses. If your child has persistent bad breath, I would see your pediatrician or family doctor to rule out infection. Other causes are chronic mouth breathing, and post-nasal drip which also have many causes. Dental issues can also cause bad breath.
