A member asked:

When should we use solpadeine of gsk instead of panadol (acetaminophen) advance ? is it the same strength of panadol (acetaminophen) extra ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends,,,: From what i gather, these are similar to tylenol (acetaminophen) in usa, only they have some other things added depending on which derivative you use. For example, the solpedeine migraine has Ibuprofen and Codeine along with the paracetamol/tylenol (acetaminophen) in it and panadol. This gives more pain relief and Ibuprofen can control inflammation also. So these differences can give different effects, etc.. Best of luck.
