How often & how much should a 2 week old baby be eating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Newborn feeding: Try not to focus on each individual feed, but what baby takes over 24 hours. Just like you and i, our appetite is different at each meal and appropriate growth really involves the big picture rather that each feed. That being said, a 2 week old should be taking about 26 ounces a day of formula or breast milk. Breast being best, this is feeding every 2-3 hours for 15 minutes on each breast.
