Sore tongue: Assuming it is a cold/canker sore here is a simple remedy that works for my front desk all the time. Rinse several times per day with a solution of 50% water and 50% hydrogen peroxide. Got rid of hers in two days and pain was gone sooner than that.

Sore on tongue: See your dentist who can determine the cause of the sore. This will determine the treatment. There are lots of different types of "sores" and each one has a different cause and treatment or remedy.
