After a muscle spasm in trapezius area i notice that when i swallow just saliva i get pain in the muscle that spasmed. goes into chest. what is this?

Need chest pain eval: It is easy to say that your pain is associated with your history of acid reflex. But your chest pain should be evaluated by your physician and an ekg should be recommended. Your muscle pain may represent residual pain from your spasm, or referred pain from the gastric reflex.
