Can't remove yellow: Even when the dentist or oral hygienest whiten teeth, they are only very changing it to a lighter shade of yellow. If you remove the yellow, the enamel is already gone.

Whitening works: As we age, the core of our teeth (dentin) gains color (more yellow) and the enamel that may be masking that color gets thinner. The good news is that teeth can be whitened using hydrogen peroxide - safely. Drugstore products and professional materials all work. Ask your dentist.
