Possibilities....: Sometimes after an airway or lung infection, bronchospasm and/or airway inflammation can occur as the infection is resolving, resulting in continued coughing. The treatment for this includes bronchodilator and steroid inhalers which need to be prescribed by your doctor. Another possibility is that the infection itself is still resolving. If the cough persists or worsens over time, see your doctor.
