See answer: Cilicaine pcn is generally used for treatment of strept or staph upper respiratory, throat, and sinus type infections and is not usually effective for the bacteria that cause utis. There are other types of pcn (e.g. Amoxicillin) and other antibiotics that would be more effective in the treatment of a uti. You might want to check with your md first.
