Try ex. bike: This is a common complaint to me..." i'd like to lose weight doc but my knees hurt too much"!" what do I do"? You can start by dieting(less calories in). Most people who are overweight can ride an ex.Bike or recumbent bike to shed calories.If this is too difficult you can swim( join a gym w/ a pool and take a swimming lesson or two!)once the weight comes off u usually are able to walk ... Gl!

How about starting: Off with swimming on a routine basis. Once you have lost some weight - and feel more comfortable you can add in more aerobic activity. Encourage weight training throughout.
