That is an enormous: Object to try to hold in your rectum for an hour. Are you not worried about developing laxity of your anal sphincter ? Or of possible future incontinence of feces if you continue inserting or attempting to insert large objects through your anus? Listen to your body- if you develop abdominal pain then this action is harming you. Seek medical care for severe pain or if pain is not resolving.

A bowling pin?: It sounds like you're curious about sexuality. However the anus is built for things to come out, but not well for insertion of large objects. It doesn't expand in size like the vagina, and its lining is easily torn. It has no natural lubrication. It can be damaged and stretched beyond capacity. Inserting a bowling pin could easily hurt you. Please seek medical attention if pain continues.
