Hemorrhoid or ?: You need to see a gastro-intestinal specialist or a colorectal surgeon. Even a general surgeon can help you with getting an exam in the colon and rectal area. Hemorrhoids are the most common issue, but thinks like colitis, diverticulosis, polyps or colon tumors can cause rectal bleeding. I recommend finding out what is causing this problem.
