It depends: On the clinical situation and what your baseline is. However, for a normal healthy 22 yr old, expect 96-99. For a 70 yr old COPD patient, 88 starts getting pretty low. Again, it depends on your baseline. 88 to 99 is considered normal in many text books, but for healthy people and normal breathing, 95-99 is pretty normal.
