The most difficult to diagnose is the eyelid dermatitis caused by contact dermatitis of the eyelid even though it is the most common cause of the disease, in over 70% of the cases. Treatment is with topical cortisone.

Liver disease?: Sounds like jaundice. If so, he needs to see his primary care doctor. They'll likely run some labs to see if the liver enzymes are elevated. If you've gotten to the point where you are noticing it and are concerned enough to post here, i would do so asap! if he is sick with nausea/vomiting, i would go to the ed instead. Good luck!
