Ask your GP: Best source for individualized answer to your good question is the gp who prescribed it. He/she needs to know your concern. They should know if it is safe. Many such drugs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories) are fairly safe for a short period. But the can indeed cause kidney problems and aggravate asthma in some people. Call your gp now.Or take nothing (or acetaminophen) as a sprain heals quickly.
