38y f. aphasia, neuropthy, fibromyalgia, delayed muscle movement(arms&legs won't go), recent swelling, drifting while walking. could this be serious? help.

Could be serious: This may or may not be, but without a physical exam its very difficult to tell. From your symptoms, i would recommend being examined sooner than later just because of the numerous neurologic things it could be from medication issues to blood pressure issues, to more concerning neuro issues. I wish i could be of more help, but best thing to do would see a physician, w/ exam and workup. Best wishes!

It is time to see: A neurologist. You have described poor motor coordination, the presence of neurological gait abnormalities. Neurologists specialize in disease of and damage to the nervous system and symptoms you presented. Rec.: make an appointment with your primary care physician to discuss whether a visit to a neurologist is warranted. Hope it helps...
