Good work!: It sounds like quitting smoking will be very helpful to you down the road. Good for you; it isn't easy! a chronic cough productive of phlegm sounds like 'chronic bronchitis' and there are medications that may help you breathe more easily. You may also have a sinus infection, so it would be a good idea to see your doctor. Hopefully, your doctor will be ecstatic about your quitting smoking! lgromko.

Congratulations : On your decision to quit smoking! it is best to see your pcp to manage your care . You may have smokers cough on top of allergic rhinitis and may be suffering from asthma / bronchitis. In either case, you will need prescriptions to offer relief and get your life back.
