Colonoscopy problem?: Air used to inflate your colon may persist for several hours--not typically for 5 days. Your post-procedure symptoms may be due to colonoscopy-related factors: colonic or organ mechanical trauma, post-polypectomy syndrome, abdominal wall bruising from external pressure, etc.; diverticular disease; extra-intestinal problems; ibs; lots more. First step--call asap your colonoscopist ; ask his advice.
