No it does not: Omeprazole is a drug used to reduce acidity in the stomach, for treatment of acid related reflux (heartburn) and treatment of gastritis, including symptomatic h. Pylori (in addition to antibiotics). It does not affect inflammation of the gallbladder, which is usually related to poor emptying from gallstones.
