A member asked:

Would disordered proliferative endometrium with a strong family h/o ovarian and uterine ca, lynch synd. warrant a hysterectomy ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely not: Disordered proliferative endometrium solely describes endometrium that is in different phases of development of secretory glands at the same time. And it is definitely not a pre-cancerous diagnosis based on your biopsy. The strong family history, however, could be. Consider speaking with your gynecologist about prophylactic hysterectomy in your specific setting/family history. Good luck.
