Nerve: Sometimes after surgery there are trapped nerves that can cause pain. Maybe the massage triggered something in this area? I don't think the massage can cause any damage at all. I don't think you need to wait to get another massage either. I would try some warm compresses over the area, or a warm bath to see if that helps to relieve the pain. It's also possible that the 2 aren't related.
