Metal fatigue: Constant stress on metal causes fatigue , it will be same for metals in a air plane , or empire state building , those stress areas will crack with time , that is what your doctor meant . You have the one with current technology , may be the next one 20 yrs from now , you will have the one that you are looking for , will not need replacement . Speak to you doctor
