A member asked:

Why do i have reoccurring uti's?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See answer: About 20 percent of young women with a first UTI will have a recurrent infection. With each uti, the risk that a woman will continue having recurrent utis increases. In some cases there is an identifiable cause but in the majority of cases, the cause is biological and related to a combination of factors intrinsic to both the bacteria in your body and to your immune system that helps prevent utis.
