A member asked:

I have a 28 day cycle, i usually ovulate on day 16 of my cycle, now i'm ovulating at day 19 and my lutheal phase is getting shorter, is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps not: A short luteal could be a problem if you are trying to conceive. First check time of ovulation by multiple methods since using just one may be misleading. Most accurate is serial transvaginal ultrasound but is not readily accessible. Ovulation kits are not as accurate as they like to claim. Your basal body temperature should rise and cervical mucus dry up immediately after. Sometimes there's pain.
