Doctor can check: A doctor can look to check the eardrums. Also, an instrument called a tympanometer can tell when there is no fluid nor pressure behind an eardrum. If there are no symptoms, a person would have a hard time telling whether or not she has fluid behind her eardrums without the help of a doctor.
