Dysmenorrhea: Consider omega- 3 fatty acids or magnesium (supplementation or through diet) with dr ok. Discuss use of herbal like black cohosh with your dr. Sipping chamomile ; green tea can dissipate pain. Avoid caffeine, chocolate, alcohol ; salt. Nsaid’s, warm bath, heating pad ; acupuncture are excellent for dysmenorrhea. Get gyn eval – check magnesium ; iodine levels ; to rule out underlying pathology.
