Brain Stimulation: Is it the doctor who does tms who does not recommend it? I don't understand why it wouldn't be recommended. If not tms, you may consider ECT (electroconvulsive therapy). Or chronotherapy - sleep deprivation with sleep phase advance and light therapy. There's a clinic in chicago doing this. http://www.chicagochronotherapy.org.
