Personal choice: I would say either Ibuprofen or naproxen. There is not really alot of difference in my opinion.

Depends: The answer to this question depends on why you are asking. Obviously the number of pills you take will define the dose, or strength. Be cautioned however that almost all medications have side effects, many of which, given a high enough dose or a long enough exposure period, can be health harmful. Also do not mask pain but rather find the source and treat appropiately.

There are many: There are many type of pain killers it depends upon the type of pain your trying to eliminate. Most dental pain is caused by localized inflammation in a particular area do to infection or trauma to a specific area. If your trying to eliminate pain from the central nervous system then you need something in the codiene family. Otherwise the nsaids work fine.

Pain killer: This really depends on how long you use the med for. Any med used long term is bad and certainly does work against you especially if it a pain med.

there are known complications of taking pain meds daily. Even non-narcotic pain relivers can have side efffects, like kidney or liver damage, ulcers, and they can also lower your threshold for pain, making a 'normal' discomfort seem much worse.
