Possibly: The proven treatments for PTSD include medication and psychotherapy. If you cannot avail yourself of these why not try the online therapy. If this is not helpful you can always try something else.

Trauma take it slow: It's common to be scared to talk to someone, especially a new therapist. Our job is to work at your speed. In my own practice, I've even asked clients to slow down. Prior to talking about abuse, you must develop trust and soothing/relaxation skills so you can continue to feel in control in session.

Challenges abound...: E-therapy can be effective if the patient can adjust his/her expectations. I have a good e-therapy practice and I find the biggest struggle for clients is being committed to homework assignments and expecting immediate results with minimal effort.
