A member asked:

Do you have lupus if you have anticardiolipin antibodies? what else do you look for with this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Antiphospholipid antibodies can occur where there is no underlying disease or can be associated with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and other disorders.
