A member asked:

Can leeches be used for treating superficial vein thrombosis?(placing the leech on the vein where theres a clot and allowing it to suck blood)..?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: If the blood is clotted, the leech won't be able to suck the blood. Interesting idea though.
