Yes: Bowel movements do not occur on a schedule. Any time of the day is normal.

May not be abnormal: Normal bowel frequency varies from 3 movements/ day to one movement every 3 to 4 days. Stool consistency, measured by bristol stool scale, varies from normal (4), hard (1-3), soft (5-7). Stool frequency you describe does not meet the medical definition of diarrhea. Perhaps you have a change in stool texure, urgency, timing, volume? Gastro-colic reflux may contribute here--get checked please.
