Listen to your body: No reason to take into your body something that irritates it. You can alter bacterial flora of the GI tract by eating 6 servings of vegetables and an apple and avoiding dairy, wheat, and sugar. Milk proteins, not just lactose, can be affecting you through promoting inflammatory bacteria in the intestinal tract. Gluten free grains like rice and corn may be bothersome as well.
