Have prescription for klonopin (clonazepam) 1mg i can take it 2x a day for anxiety. i take as needed. had a traumatic event, can i take it for a few days straight then stop?

Benzodiazepines: Using sedatives as needed is tricky. They cause sedation most of the time and create abuse potential (klonopin (clonazepam) is very potent and long lasting) i recommend to find the minimum dose that calms your anxiety during the day, and keep that dose regularly. You can use half milligram two or three times a day, possibly more effective that 1 mg once a day, or at night when the side effects help to sleep.
