No : Lasik surgery is not noticeable to someone else looking at your eye. When it is all healed, there is a faint scar that is usually only visible to an eye doctor using a slit lamp (biomicroscope) when doing an eye exam.

LASIK: Great question. On exam, it is very difficult to see whether a patient has had previous lasik. The one test that can usually reveal whether someone has previous lasik is called topography, as it will show the change in shape of the cornea following lasik. I hope this helps.
