PRK vs Lasik: Although dr. Bradley is correct that laser is used during lasik; but you may mean prk vs lasik. In prk there is no flap made. If you have thin cornea or keratoconus form fruste then you should not have lasik but you may be able to do prk or surface laser. In the middle east where keratoconus is endemic (up to 60% in some areas) drs advise to have only prk to patients since kcff is often missed.
